SERVICING
Why is servicing your car so important?
Your car gets you where you want to go so you need to make sure it will definitely get you there.
Servicing helps to prolong the life of your engine and can improve fuel economy, saving you money in the long-run.

What does a service involve?
Interim Service:
Oil & Filter Change - oil lubricates your engine, but it also cools and cleans it. The old oil is drained out of the engine and new put in to keep the moving parts working at their best.

Inspection - A service includes an inspection which can pick up on safety critical components, e.g. worn brakes.

Full Service:
As above but also includes the following:
Air Filter - this catches dirt in the atmosphere before it goes into your engine.

Fuel Filter - this one ensures the fuel is clean before it's injected into the engine's cylinders.

Pollen Filter (also known as a Cabin Filter - this one filters the air that goes into the car, ensuring the air you breathe is clean and not full of dust particles.

Spark Plugs - these ignite the fuel inside the engine's cylinders so they need to be working efficiently to create a true burn.

How often should I service my car?
Most manufacturers recommend having a service every 10,000 miles or 12 months. But each manufacturer is different so you can either check your car's handbook or contact us to find out.

How much does a service cost?
This varies depending on the car's make and model, if it's diesel or petrol, and it's engine size. Please get in touch today for a quote.
